Privacy Policy

RV Roster ("RV Roster", "we", "us", or "our") is responsible for the personal information handled by this application. This policy explains what we collect from residents and administrators of the community directories hosted here, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
When you use RV Roster, we may collect:
- Account information - your name and email address, either entered directly or provided by a third-party sign-in provider (Google, Facebook, Yahoo, or Apple).
- Directory entries - names, phone numbers, email addresses, mailing or lot addresses, birthdays, anniversaries, and photos that you or a park administrator add to a household entry.
- Sign-in and security data - sign-in timestamps, session identifiers, and sign-in attempt history, used to keep accounts secure.
- Preferences - your chosen language and display theme, saved to your account so they follow you between devices.
How We Use Information
We use this information to:
- Operate the community directory, showing entries to other verified residents and administrators of the same park.
- Let administrators review, approve, and manage entries, invitations, and ownership requests.
- Authenticate sign-ins and protect accounts against unauthorized access.
- Generate directory exports (CSV, PDF, and printed books) that an administrator requests for their own park.
How We Share Information
Directory entries are visible only within the specific park (tenant) they belong to, and only for the fields an administrator or resident has marked visible. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising. Third-party sign-in providers (Google, Facebook, Yahoo, Apple) are used solely to authenticate you; we only receive the name and email address they provide, and we never post to those accounts on your behalf.
Data Retention
Directory entries are retained for as long as your park's account remains active. Approved changes are kept in an archived revision history so administrators can review or restore prior versions, so a removed or expired entry may remain in that archive rather than being immediately purged. You can ask an administrator, or contact us directly, to have your personal information corrected or removed.
Cookies
The Service uses only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your chosen theme. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
Data Security
Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing, and connections to the Service are encrypted in transit. Repeated failed sign-in attempts are automatically throttled to protect accounts from unauthorized access. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Your Rights and Choices
You may ask to review, correct, or delete the personal information associated with your account or entry at any time by contacting your park's administrator or by emailing us directly. You may also mark individual phone numbers, email addresses, and addresses as private within the app so they are not shown to other residents.
Children's Information
A household entry may include the name and birthday of a minor child, added by a parent or guardian. This information is used solely for the community directory and is not knowingly collected directly from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
